While he was still running his secret campaign for the White House, Dr. Ben Carson hinted broadly that he'd be open to running for Vice-President on a ticket with Il Duce. It was about then that I lost most of the remaining respect I'd had for the well-intentioned but essentially clueless man who has been sticking his foot in his mouth throughout the entire campaign.

Has anybody yet figured out why a politically unknown brain surgeon was running for president of the United States to begin with?

Anyway, Dr. Ben is apparently about to endorse Il Duce. Good luck with that, Doc. I hope you don't expect any more respect than Chris Christie got for groveling before a tyrant.
