With 27% in, Trump is beating Cruz in Illinois 40% to 35.5%. That rumbling noise coming from the direction of Springfield is Abe Lincoln spinning like a top in his grave.

Fortunately Illinois, like Missouri, apportions its delegates by congressional district, so maybe the damage can be minimized. It's all about keeping Trump's delegate count down.
