Trump lied about that endorsement from Pete Rose. It never happened!
The other day several news sources proclaimed that Pete Rose had endorsed Donald Trump- certainly a helpful piece of news for The Donald just before the Ohio primary. Trump tweeted about the endorsement and enclosed a picture of the autographed ball on the left:.
The problem is that according to Rose's attorney not only was no endorsement intended- but the ball didn't even come from Rose!
"We do not know where he got the ball," the lawyer said.
Donald Trump lies as easily as he breathes. That so many Americans have been taken in by this man's pattern of deceit is remarkable. Not only has the media failed to give it the coverage it should have had, but the gullibility of Trump's supporters is only underscored anew every time another piece of deceit is revealed.
Donald Trump simply cannot be trusted.
