Abraham Lincoln wrote, "I am not bound to win, but I am bound to be true. I am not bound to succeed, but I am bound to live by the light that I have. I must stand with anybody that stands right, and stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong." That means putting country ahead of party and conscience ahead of conformity. And that is why I am a FORMER Republican.
Given the insane propensity of the Left for apportioning blame to Republicans for mass murders committed by registered Democrats and to conservative Christians for acts of terror committed by Muslims, I wonder whether it has occurred to anybody in that potty end of the political spectrum that the rhetoric of their own kind about the police bears an enormous burden of responsibility for the tragedy in Dallas.
Every conservative in the world, after all, is responsible for everything evil that happens anywhere, and no "progressive" is ever responsible for anything. Even things their own rhetoric inspire and encourage.
