The GOP convention might be mildly interesting. Or not.

Here's a probably realistic look by John Fund of National Review at the movement to deny Donald Trump the Repubican nomination at Cleveland.

Could it happen? Sure. With only 890 or so of the 1,527 delegates needed to nominate strong Trump supporters, the numbers have to make the handlers of The Orange God-King a little nervous. But will enough of the professional politicians who will be gathered in Cleveland find the testicular fortitude to actually deny the 70-year-old infant the nomination? Probably not.

Cleveland will provide some mild entertainment, perhaps. But when the convention adjourns sine die, we will still be faced with a choice between two candidates neither of whom are fit to sit in the Oval Office.
