Yes, as a matter of fact, it IS getting warm in here!

While I disagree with Dennis Prager's apparent belief that electing an unrepentant serial adulterer, pathological liar, narcissist, blatant hypocrite, con man, and professional swindler whose core of support comes from racists, Nazis, haters and assorted bigots as President of the United States is any part of the solution to our dilemma, it's increasingly hard to see how anyone with two brain cells to rub together can disagree as to where Western civilization and the United States, in particular, are headed, and in what manner of conveyance.

But one of my dad's favorite proverbs was, "None are so blind as those who will not see." Open eyes are out of fashion, and it's a pity. As Prager makes all too clear, we're headed for warmer climes in a chariot of wicker, and we apparently don't especially care.

But wait! Maybe every other civilization in history is right, and there is a moral order in the universe. Maybe our ancestors were onto something. Maybe there is such a thing as truth- after all, if there isn't, that statement "there is no such thing as truth" can't be true either- and we've all turned off our minds. Maybe we need to re-think where we've been going since the 'Sixties. Maybe...
