For the record

Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham, and the rest of the Republican senators have taken an oath to "do impartial justice" as jurors in President Trump's impeachment trial, which is now underway.

In fairness, so have the members of the Democratic minority.

Regardless of their party and regardless of how they vote, those who have stated their intention to violate that oath by voting a certain way before they have heard the evidence will have to answer to God, the voters, and themselves for which promise they keep and which one they break.

Just sayin'.
