Surprise! Donald Trump is a bad winner, too!

The USMCA, the Trump administration's highest legislative priority, has been passed. The president will sign it tomorrow. There is no question that it is an improvement on NAFTA, from America's point of view, and President Trump deserves the lion's share of the credit.

It was passed with Democratic help, of course. But apparently, the Democrats aren't going to be invited to the signing ceremony. This is, of course, the Trump administration, which never misses an opportunity to be petty, vindictive and childish.

Or divisive, even in celebrating a bipartisan achievement for which it deserves the greater share of the credit. Of course, Donald Fredovich isn't really big on sharing credit for anything.

The Constitution requires that the President be at least 35 years of age. The idea was to make sure that the leader of the nation was a mature human being. Unfortunately, it hasn't worked; Mr. Trump is  70 years of age and still sticking out his metaphorical tongue at people. And until we have a grownup in the White House again, we're not going to be able to heal our divisions.

On the other hand, those divisions made Mr. Trump president, and his entire agenda seems to depend on keeping us divided.
