Dumb and dumber. Broken and brokener.
This is an ad the Trump campaign is running in South Carolina.
I don't know whether the Trump campaign advertising the fact that they're trying to get their people to switch parties to vote for Bernie in the Democratic Party or Democrats seeing this ad and then voting for Bernie anyway is dumber, but it's food for thought.
Nothing makes it clearer how broken our two-party system is- and how broken our two parties are- than the fact that the Democrats are on the verge of nominating a Socialist for president at a moment at which, according to Gallup, only 45% of Americans would consider voting for a socialist, while the Republicans are running ads urging their voters to cross over and vote for that socialist in full view of every Democrat in South Carolina.
Like the man says, you can't make this stuff up.
