You know, I have to wonder whether those who carried this sign from the pro-COVID demonstrations the other day think that it did their cause any good.

In fact, you have to wonder whether they actually thought that anyone who saw it might entertain the possibility that they were in their right minds for even a further moment.

This is the kind of nuttiness which Mr. Trump's presidency has brought into the ascendant. As the ancient Chinese curse is said to go, "May you live in interesting times."

These are certainly interesting times.
