The stars will be right on November 3
In 2016, President Trump carried senior citizens by a healthy margin. But not surprisingly, given the way he's effectively declared us expendable through his COVID policy, he's getting clobbered in that demographic this time around. And every time his campaign releases an ad trying to win us back, he does something like tweeting the picture at the right.
He's campaigning as if he had no impulse control and absolutely no idea what he's doing. It kind of reminds me of the way he governs. He can't seem to stop getting in his own way. He's his own worst enemy, and the best resource the Biden campaign has. I'm not sure that the DNC shouldn't have paid for Mr. Trump's "town hall" the other night when he refused to repudiate a conspiracy theory linking Pope Francis, Queen Elizabeth, Barack Obama, Tom Hanks, and the Dalai Lama to a child sex trafficking ring that eats the children it's enslaved when they're done with them.
Not to go all Lovecraft on you, Mr. President. But the stars will be right on November 3, and the Old Ones are coming for you. And maybe the men in the white coats.
