California Supremes Nix Gay Licences

The California Supreme Court has invalidated marriage licences issued to same-sex couples, ruling that San Francisco's mayor exceeded his authority in issuing them, in view of a California state law defining marriage as an arrangement between a man and a woman.

The ruling stopped short of addressing the supposed constitutional issue involved in the drive to institutionalize the logical, historical, and legal absurdity of same-sex "marriage."
