Re-alignment in Israel

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is reportedly leaving Likud, and former Prime Minister Shimon Peres leaving Labor, to form a new party.

Sharon is reportedly in trouble with Likud, and Peres was recently ousted from the Labor Party leadership by Amir Peretz.
