The persecuted Church under Islam
The situation of Christians living in Islamic lands has always been marginal, varying in its tolerability from country to country.
But of late, it's becoming far worse, as militant political Islam becomes stronger and stronger. The Islamic world is becoming a harder and harder place for Christian dhimmi (literally, "protected ones," who are second-class citizens to be kept in a state of subjugated humiliation under the Quran and Shariah religious law) to exist- and more and more are either fleeing or committing apostacy.
