The Washington Post waxes even sillier than usual

The arguments of the MSM and the rest of the Left are sometimes so off the wall that they're impossible to take seriously enough to justify arguing with them. Sometimes all one can do is laugh and walk away, shaking one's head in amazement that such bright people can be so dense.

So it is with the Washington Post's attempted rebuttal of Fred Thompson's remark that Americans have shed more blood in the cause of freedom than have any other people in history.

The Post's silly rejoinder: "On the contrary! The Russians have shed more!"

Excuse me... but on precisely what occasion did any soldier of the Soviet Union shed even a single drop of blood for freedom? Nobody "liberated" by the Russians even in World War II became free as a result. Quite the opposite, in fact.

Do the folks at the Post even think before they write these things?

Do the folks at the Post ever think? Says a mouthful about the values and objectivity of the Washington Post, though.
