Chinese human rights activist Hu jailed in preparation for Olympics

China is preparing for the Olympics in typical fashion: by suppressing dissent.

Activist Hu Jia, one of the foremost domestic critics of Bejing's miserable human rights record, has been jailed for three years and six months for "incitement to subvert state power."
