Rolling Stone slanders an American hero
Anyone looking for the real mud being slung in this campaign need not dwell too long on the question of whether John McCain is exaggerating the degree to which Barack Obama's past associations with Bill Ayers ought to concern us.
They have a much more virulent and disgusting example in Rolling Stone's disgusting hatchet job on American hero John McCain's military record.
I doubt we'll hear much about this on the evening news, though.

"Barak" is the Hebrew word for lightning, and the name of a character in the Old Testament. I've always sort of liked it- and somehow I never noticed the "c" in Sen. Obama's name until now.
