Wow! Two cliffhangers in Illinois

State Senator Bill Brady apparently defeated his Senate collegue, Kirk Dillard, by a margin of 406 votes in yesterday's Illinois Republican gubernatorial primary.

Over on the Democratic side, incumbent Gov. Pat Quinn is the apparent winner over State Comptroller Dan Hynes by some 8,080 votes.

While President Obama has called Gov. Quinn to congratulate him, neither Dillard nor Hynes has conceded. Both races will probably go to a recount, and especially on the GOP side just about anything might still happen.
