Voters give Romney the edge in leadership, values, and honesty
A new Pulse Opinion Research poll commissioned by The Hill shows voters giving Mitt Romney narrowly better ratings for leadership, values and honesty than President Obama.
Voters rank the Republican as a better leader than Mr. Obama by 48%-42%. 47% say that Romney more closely shares their values, while 44% say the same about the president.
46% considered Romney more honest and trustworthy, whereas 44% give the edge to Mr. Obama.
Bear in mind that President Obama's big advantage among voters has always been their liking for his personal qualities rather than his policies. This advantage seems to be dissipating- which is very bad news indeed for the White House.
