Abraham Lincoln wrote, "I am not bound to win, but I am bound to be true. I am not bound to succeed, but I am bound to live by the light that I have. I must stand with anybody that stands right, and stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong." That means putting country ahead of party and conscience ahead of conformity. And that is why I am a FORMER Republican.
Just saw a new Rasmussen poll, and I don't know who is more delusional: the 44% of Americans who think that Christians are treated fairly in the Muslim world, or the 61% who think that Muslims are treated fairly in ours.
