Anti-blarney at work?

Kevin McCarthy, the front-runner to replace John Boehner as Speaker of the House,  has shot himself in the foot with a statement which sounded as if he were admitting that the Benghazi investigation is a politically-motivated witch hunt whose purpose is to "get" Hillary Clinton.

Democrats are calling for the committee to be disbanded, and Republicans are not happy with Rep. McCarthy.

Bad timing that may cost Mr. McCarthy the speakership.

As it happens, his statement that Sec. Clinton's poll numbers are tanking are accurate. If only it weren't for the GOP death wish...
