Real shamrocks, phony shamrocks, and why it's heresy anyway

Today is St. Patrick's Day, and all over the world people are displaying four-leafed clovers in the mistaken belief that they are shamrocks. They are not.

The whole significance of the shamrock is that Patrick supposedly used it to illustrate the doctrine of the Trinity to the Irish pagans he was in the process of converting. The problem is, of course, that the doctrine the shamrock illustrates is in fact the heresy of partialism, that is... well, let's let Pr.
