Wisconsin rejects Il Duce

With a bit over half of the returns in, Ted Cruz has won the Wisconsin primary.

He has a lead of about 18% and easily over 100,000 votes over Donald Trump. Kasich has about half the votes that Trump has.

I rejoice not because I am happy that Cruz won; I don't like the guy, and he's nearly as certain a loser in November as Trump is. But I rejoice because Trump has lost- and with tonight's result in Wisconsin, his chances of getting to 1,237 votes on the first ballot at Cleveland has taken a major hit.

The party could survive losing with Cruz. It could not survive nominating Trump.

Their taste in professional football teams may leave something to be desired, but kudos to the folks in the Cheesehead State for slamming the door in the face of Il Duce.
