This just gets worse and worse

President Trump says that Kim Jong Un wasn't the one who insisted that the United States stop participating in war games with South Korea, a beleaguered ally threatened by a hostile neighbor who is a nuclear power, has one of the largest armies on the planet, and is led by a crazy man who has absolute power.  Oh, no.

Mr. Trump says that HE was the one who suggested it.

Having a loose cannon for a president, who is apt to do or say anything, is appealing to fewer and fewer Americans.  The mystery is how anyone can continue to harbor the slightest illusions about the man's competence, or even take him seriously.
