Trump surrenders to the Taliban

Hurry, Joe Biden.

Hurry up and take office before Donald Trump gives up Philadelphia. We need a president who has at least SOME idea what the hell he's doing- and fast before this guy does any more damage to our national security with his clueless, impulsive ego!

Donald Fredovich is determined to be able to claim to have ended the war in Afghanistan. In fact, he's SO determined that he's hit upon the quickest possible way out. He's decided to simply surrender. No doubt he will call our surrender a great deal. The BEST deal.

He'll claim that everybody thinks so. Except that the only people who actually think that are the enemy!

In case you've forgotten (Americans don't remember such things very long), we originally went to war in Afghanistan because the Taliban, who were running things at the time, harbored Osama bin Laden in the wake of 9/11 and refused our demand that they give him up. We kicked the tyrannical Taliban regime out of power, installed a more or less democratic government- and then did essentially what the Trump administration wants us to do all over the world, which is nothing, allowing everything to go to hell and the Taliban to stage a comeback.

Let's be clear about this: it was our failure to support the Afghan government that allowed the Taliban to come back from near extinction and make Afghanistan a hotbed for international terrorism again.

Now our Dear Leader wants us to complete the process by stabbing the Afghan government in the back and cutting out, leaving the Afghan people to the tender mercies of the savages Americans have been fighting and dying to prevent from coming back to power all these years.

There was a time when conservatives were all about standing up for America. Now, they're about to make Afghanistan the second war in our history that we have lost so that Donald Trump can go into his re-election campaign claiming to have ended the war there.

Make America what again?

Yeah, I don't know how we're going to handle all this winning. The trouble is that we have a president who has absolutely no idea what he's doing, and whose view of the world is so cockeyed that he thinks that you win by surrendering.
