Observations on the vice-presidential debate

The winner of the debate was clearly the fly. It not only observed the two-minute time limit but stayed on its subject the whole time. You can't say either about Harris or Pence.

Somebody needs to remind Mike Pence that Beelzebub (or Baal Zebub) means "Lord of the Flies." This is probably not an endorsement he wants, although given his running mate he should probably have expected it.

I knew things weren't going well for the Republicans. But the only thing worse than flies taking up residence on your candidates is vultures circling overhead. The way this campaign is going, that will be next.

Why is it that every time he was asked a question about the failures of President Trump, or Sen. Harris pointed them out, the vice-president changed the subject to "the American people?" He's not our fault. After all, more of us voted against him than for him.
